​2018 LAKE REALTY SPIRITUS MASTERS GOLF TOURNAMENT

Despite a gloomy forecast for the third annual 2018 Lake Realty Spiritus Masters presented by Merrill Corporation, the rain stopped early and the sun peaked thru on April 9, 2018, providing a nice visual representation of this year's "Silver Lining" theme.  Nearly 200 golfers, volunteers, and sponsors enjoyed a fun-filled day of golf  topped off by an excellent reception!

The team at Verdict Ridge Golf & Country Club outdid themselves this year with great hospitality, tasty food, and a golf course in excellent condition.  Helen Link, Frank Free, and Eddie Knox provided inspirational messages to the group, but Marianne Buchanan of UNC Adult Cystic Fibrosis Center really drove home the impact that Spiritus Project has had for the adult cystic fibrosis patients served by their team and UNC Hospital!

We really stretched our tournament committee team this year to help us meet our goal of raising $100,000 to address the growing patient needs. And, with the support of friends, family, neighbors, colleagues, and local businesses, we pulled it off!!!
